First Haircut

Mommy says it finally time for a haircut. My hair is long and curly and oh so cute. Since Mommy was cutting hers all off, we got mine trimmed, too.

What a handsome guy!

3 Months

"Three months already?" I love to smile, play with Mommy and Daddy and watch the toys on the bouncy chair.
I weigh: 14 lbs 8 oz
I am: 25.4"

At my doctor's appointment, I had to get shots. I was very good and only cried a little!

Merry Christmas

I don't remember much about my first Christmas, but Mommy and Daddy said I got spoiled by everyone. We stayed at Grandpa and Grandma Johnson's house on Christmas Eve. We had a party at the Worley's, then went to the Johnson's. We woke up early to see what Santa Claus delivered. After we opened all our presents we went to Aunt Jayme's to watch Ethan and Brayden open theirs too.

Once all the presents were opened, we loaded the truck and drove to Woodland to see the rest of our family. We had a wonderful Christmas. Mommy says she looks forward to when I'm a little bigger and she and Daddy can teach me the real meaning of Christmas; the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thanksgiving

Since Mommy was still on maternity leave, we got to go to Kamas and Logan for one week during Thanksgiving. Everyone was so excited to see me and see how big I've grown. We spent time with both families, and had Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma and Grandpa McNeil's house in Woodland, Utah. All of my cousins were there, too.

Just before we headed to Northern Utah, my mommy said I had just started sleeping through the night! She said she was sooooo happy!

One Month

"Time is flying by!" says Mommy. I've grown and changed a lot, but one thing that hasn't changed is how easy going I am. She says I'm such a happy boy. I am a very good sleeper at night, and I only wake up one time to eat.

Happy Halloween!

I was a hotdog for Halloween, and a very cute one, too! Mommy took me to her work to show me off, then to Daddy's work. Then we went home and had lots of trick-or-treaters come stop by our house.

The Butikofers also came to visit us, and we went to Staheli Farms where they have a corn maze, pumpkin patch and lots of other fun activities.

Week 1

My mommy said I slept a lot the first week home. She said I was a very good baby and still hardly ever cried. Here are some pictures of me in my first week.

Home From The Hospital

The day after I was born we got to leave the hospital and head for home. Grandma and Grandpa McNeil were staying at our house to help out with me. They helped take care of me and Mommy, and Grandma helped Mommy to know what to do with her new baby. Mommy said I was a very good baby right from the beginning. I hardly ever cried and that made my first night home very easy for her. The next day she and Grandma gave me my first bath. I loved my first bath and really liked to have my hair washed. It is very curly and looks so cute when I get it wet.

Later that afternoon Grandpa and Grandma had to go back home, and it was just me, Mommy and Daddy. The next day, my grandma Patti and Aunt Lindsay and Avah came to stay. They stayed for the rest of the week and helped out. They were so happy to finally see me and said I was a handsome little man. Grandpa Randy and Uncle Vinny also came for the weekend. I had my first outing to St. George so we could all go out to eat.

Happy Birth Day!

The doctor said my due date was October 5th, so my parents were starting to very get anxious when the day came and I still wasn't born. Two days later on October 7th, my mommy started having contractions in the middle of the night. Early that morning she told daddy it was time to go to the hospital. When they got there, the nurse said she was definitely in labor. Daddy called the whole family and they jumped in their cars and drove to St. George. It took a full day of labor before I was ready to be born, and at 10:51 PM, I came into the world. The doctor laid me on my mommy's chest and said I looked like a very big boy. He was right, I weighed 8 lbs and 13 oz! Everyone was so surprised that I was so big. Mommy said it was the most special moment of her entire life and Daddy was so happy, he had tears in his eyes. Mommy said I had lots and lots of hair, and was the most beautiful little boy she had ever seen.
The other people that were there to greet me were Grandpa and Grandma McNeil, Aunt Billie Jo and Aunt Olivia. Everyone else was in the waiting room, and they were very excited to see me too. Once they got me bundled up in some blankets, Uncle Allen and Aunt Patrice, Uncle Rick and Luke & Noah, and Uncle Tim and Ellie, Tess and Mia all came in to see me. They gave me lots of kisses and said I was so cute.

This is what I looked like right after I was born!

Getting Ready

There were a lot of things to do before I was born. For my nursery, Mommy found a bedding set she loved that had farm animals on it and Daddy started to build a crib. One day when Mommy was at work, Daddy had someone come over and paint the walls with farm animals and tractors. It was a wonderful surprise to Mommy. She loved it and said I was a lucky boy to have such a great daddy.

Lots of our friends and family threw showers and gave us lots of presents. Mommy said we got so many things that she hardly had to buy anything. She said we are very lucky to have so many people that love us so much.
